摘要
High-performance catalysts for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions are crucial for a sustainable hydrogen economy. Herein, low-cost Fe3O4@Ni(OH)2 heterogeneous catalysts with a built-in electric field (BEF) have been successfully fabricated via interfacial Fe-O-Ni bonding. Such catalysts offer low overpotential for both hydrogen evolution reaction (HER, 117.4 mV at 10 mA cm-2) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER, 216.6 mV at 10 mA cm-2) versus vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE). Serving as the cathode and anode for water electrolyzer, it exhibits excellent activity for overall water splitting with a cell voltage of 1.60 and 1.93 V at 10 and 100 mA
