摘要
The analysis of Graded-Index (GRIN) lenses involves employing ray tracing algorithms, which address the Eikonal equation to determine phase distribution. Subsequently, the transport equation is solved to retrieve the amplitude. In this paper, we introduce a novel analysis approach based on a numerical technique known as the Lax-Friedrichs Sweeping Method. The concept revolves around utilizing a rapid numerical algorithm that enables the efficient retrieval of both phase and amplitude within a 2D or 3D domain in less time compared to traditional ray tracing algorithms. The implementation of this algorithm is presented herein, along with an analysis of an inhomogeneous lenses, aiming to validate the efficacy of the proposed approach.
