摘要：

Convergence insufficiency (CI) is a frequent clinical condition primarily of idiopathic etiology. Neurological causes are secondary, and in the case of cerebral infarctions, the symptoms do not always correlate with the location. We present a middle-aged man who experienced a left anterior choroidal artery stroke with marked and symptomatic CI. In addition to having multiple cardiovascular risk factors, he also had antiphospholipid syndrome as a possible contributing cause.
