摘要
The objective of the article is to analyze the benefits obtained in the workplace through the adoption of a technological innovation in the case of the Brazil MATS Program, both in terms of internal gains for the organization and external effects on the delivery of public services, from the perspective of professionals working in Federal Criminal Forensics. The theoretical framework used was the model of innovative public management. The research was descriptive, cross-sectional, with a qualitative and quantitative approach to triangulate data collected through 33 individual interviews, three focus group participants, and 115 respondents to an electronic questionnaire. Word clouds, thematic categorical content analysis, and descriptive statistics were used. Twenty-eight subcategories of internal benefits from the use of Brazil MATS were identified, grouped into three categories (individual, work conditions, and organizational). Additionally, 23 subcategories of external benefits were identified, grouped into two categories (improvements in public service delivery and effects on society). There was a high perception of gains in work execution using Brazil MATS. The main benefits were related to ease of work, increased quality and efficiency, and time reduction. The study highlights the importance of investing in technological innovations in the sector.
