摘要
One of the major elements driving architectural progress and the development of new trends and styles throughout building history is the development of innovative building materials and technology. As a result of ongoing advances in the building sector, a vast array of building materials is now commercially available. For designers, these new materials open up a variety of new, distinctive practical applications. The architects challenged to select the best components for their designs and projects because of the extensive variety of building material possibilities available. This issue may be brought on by a lack of information that affects the criteria used to choose appropriate building materials. In this paper, SLIPS technology was introduced as an innovative building material that could potentially be utilized in Architecture. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how advancements in building materials impact buildings' sustainability. The research follows theoretical application methodology where case studies have been introduced. The study bestows children hospital in Egypt (57357) as a case study for applicability of introducing SLIPS technology. The research concludes to recommend using biomaterials; "SLIPS technology" as an innovative approach in architecture aiming to achieve sustainability.
