摘要
People from Central America now represent the third largest Latinx demographic in the United States (Noe-Bustamante et al., 2019). In fact, the total Central American-born population has grown more than tenfold since 1980, and by 24 percent since 2010 (Babich & Batalova, 2021), reaching a total of over three million Central American immigrants in the United States today. Despite this growing population, very little research has focused on the teaching and learning of Central American histories and experiences. Further, only a fraction of this research has been conducted through the perspectives of Central American educators themselves.
