Breaking the boundaries of corporate innovation: evidence from industry-university cooperation

摘要：
Constructing a quasi-natural experiment based on the data of listed companies in China from 2010 to 2022 found that industry-university cooperation can effectively broaden the innovation boundaries of firms. This effect is particularly pronounced in firms with high innovation demand and risk-taking ability, where the enhancement of firms' human capital serves as a key channel in the process. Furthermore, high-quality information can positively moderate this facilitating effect.
