摘要
A novel electromagnetic nondestructive testing (NDT) method is developed based on a high-resolution array sensing structure within a proposed U-shaped zero-magnetic zoning field. This design leverages the magnetic repulsion mechanism to create a homogeneous zero-magnetic region in the middle of a U-shaped zoning structure. This innovation aims to enhance both defect sensitivity and imaging capabilities. In particular, we provide a detailed analysis of sensing mechanism of both magnetic field refraction and magnetic circuit function. Experiments of high-resolution detection with various defects across different specimens have been effectively validated. In addition, the integration of 3-D data ultimately improved the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and defect resolution.
