摘要
Due to the insufficient detecting method of the arsenic (As) in glass beads used for pavement marking, this paper validated for the first time the feasibility of hydride generation high-resolution continuous light source atomic absorption spectrometry (HG-HRCS-AAS) for the detection of As in glass beads and proposed a simple, sensitive, and accurate two-factor ANOVA for the determination of the As in glass beads by HG-HRCS-AAS. Through the analysis of the orthogonal experiment, the sample pretreatments were optimized, including digestion solution composition, reaction temperature and time, and condensed temperature, to achieve the requirements of glass bead digestion. The two-factor ANOVA was applied to optimize the sample detection and improve the measurement accuracy of the matrix elements. After the optimization, the relative standard deviation (RSD) was in the range of 0.75-2.47 % for the As determination. The optimized detection method was used to analyze As standard material with a recovery rate being 96-103 %. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification limit (LOQ) of the As were 0.185 mu g/L and 0.617 mu g/L, respectively. Therefore, the detection method can be successfully applied to the analysis of As in glass beads and further can be generalized for other similar materials.
