摘要
Parkinson's disease is a degenerative neurological condition affecting the nervous system and the body's nerve-controlled regions. Studies have shown that consistent physiotherapy can reduce the effects for early-stage patients. The problem- patients do not have access to physiotherapists at all time convenient to them, and the lack of access to a physiotherapist could mean the patient performs exercises by themselves incorrectly or not perform them at all, which could possibly worsen the patient's condition. Related work focuses on exercise correction, but no emphasis on Parkinson's Disease as a niche. This research study proposes a novel solution to this, by offering an application that aids in performing exercises tailor-made for Parkinson's patients, detecting anomaly in exercise performance, and providing corrective feedback in the form of text, and audio, using machine learning.
