摘要
MICADO is the Multi-AO Imaging Camera for Deep Observations. It will equip the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) with a first light capability for diffraction limited imaging at near-infrared wavelengths. It is intended to be operated in two Adaptive Optics ( AO) modes, including the Single Conjugated Adaptive Optics Mode (SCAO) under the responsibility of CNRS. The project is currently in the process of ending the Final Design Review (FDR). This paper describes the FDR optical design for the SCAO Wavefront Sensor (WFS). It gives the rationale for the technical choices and the calculations for the most critical components, specifically proposing a method for designing an achromatic double-pyramid prism component.
