摘要
On the path from reactive maintenance management to predictive lifecycle management, the digital twin represents a significant tool for civil engineering structures. The digital twin is a virtual, dynamic representation of the real system and its interdependencies and is designed in a modular structure. The development of the modules for the digital twin of civil engineering structures is at varying stages of progress. This report introduces the individual modules, such as condition assessment, data management, or visualization, and describes their objectives. Additionally, initial examples of use cases for digital twins are presented.
