摘要
Terahertz waveguides are pivotal in the functionality of THz systems. This paper presents a porous-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF), which has the potential for low-loss guidance of terahertz waves. Simulation result demonstrate the PCF's performance, characterized by minimal confinement losses of 1.32x10(-6) dB/cm and 1.95x10(-6) in the x and y directions, respectively, at a frequency of 0.5 THz. Moreover, the fiber exhibits significant birefringence, reaching up to 0.030.
