摘要
The objective of this study was to characterize publications from international organizations regarding digital transformation in higher education. For this purpose, a systematic literature mapping was employed through searches in the digital libraries of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Organization of Ibero-American States (OIS), the United Nations (UN), and the United of 356 publications were selected as relevant. In the results report, the years, countries, and languages with higher production were identified. Moreover, types of material, geographical contexts of study, keywords, and thematic lines were also determined. The main findings indicate that it is a complex framework that involves aspects of public policy, educational models, emerging technologies, infrastructure, educational management, and the development of digital skills, competencies, and abilities. Additionally, the analysis dimensions converge from technological, organizational, pedagogical, and social perspectives. The conclusion of the present study is that digital transformation represents a process of change within educational institutions, necessitating a holistic analysis.
