摘要
This paper proposes several existential and ethical reflections on climate change. This overview of reflections is formulated within the framework of Kohut's Psychology of the Self and in particular with regard to his consideration of the Tragic Man and his existential project that can never be fully achieved. Freudian concepts of transience and uncanny are also taken into consideration, as well as some assumptions of Heidegger's philosophy. This paper also discusses some points raised by Susan Kassouf, in her recently published article on PSC. Finally, some assertion from contemporary phenomenological philosophy regarding the ethic of care are proposed. The paper states also how would be worth being open to wonder, as a fundamental existential experience.
