摘要
The growing trend of residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems highlights the need for accurate photovoltaic hosting capacity (PVHC) evaluation method in low-voltage distribution networks. This study aims to improve the precision of PVHC which is calculated by Monte Carlo-based method using a proposed hybrid linear and binary search approach. In addition, the weighted load concept is introduced for more accurate PVHC. The simulation of a low-voltage distribution test system in Thailand was conducted on Digsilent Powerfactory software. The results show that the hybrid linear and binary search method can improve the precision of the Monte Carlo-based method compared to the linear method. Finally, when the locational PV installed capacities are weighted by their peak locational load, the calculated PVHC significantly decreases.
