摘要
This study consists of an evaluation of training for child welfare supervisors. Forty-eight supervisors completed an online survey that measured mastery of competencies, trainee satisfaction, and transfer intention. Results identified significant improvement in mastery. Eighty-nine percent of respondents rated the training as excellent, very good, or good. Transfer intention was rated as excellent, very good, or good by ninety-six percent of respondents. Years of experience and organizational orientation to learning were significantly related to mastery and transfer intention. Educational level was also significantly and positively related to transfer intention. These results have implications for child welfare executives, trainers, and evaluators.
