摘要
Numerous emerging country mobile telecommunications industries are expanding quickly, which poses challenges for network operators include network congestion and subpar service delivery. Primarily due to absence of affordable and dependable electricity solution in such areas. With the aim of delivering a dependable and affordable energy solution in rising globe, this study gives a thorough analysis of fundamental concepts of renewable energy technology (RET). Based on region's energy resources' availability, dynamism, and techno economic viability, a grid-connected hybrid renewable energy (HRE) system with a power conversion and battery storage unit has been developed for Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) telecom industry. A simulation model created in HOMER Grid has been implemented for evaluating proposed system's performance using actual load data from 15 distinct BTS locations all across Pakistan. These sites are also connected to environment friendly electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, with addition of incentives. Optimization results indicates that after integrating on-grid HRE resources, there is significant decrease in objective parameters i.e., 87.97% decrease in LCOE and 95.26% decrease in NPC, varies from 0.03384$/kWh to 0.00407$/kWh and 0.09173$M to 0.00434$M, respectively. By making BTS operations more cost-efficient, environment friendly, and dependably effective, the recommended approach will improve both living circumstances of host communities and quality of mobile services.
