摘要
The present research details a facile hydrothermal synthesis of NiMoO4 powders as a semiconductor material for potential photocatalytic applications. It emphasizes the significance of hydrothermal temperature and treatment time, and evaluates the structural, vibrational, optical, and photocatalytic properties of the obtained compound based on the Ni:Mo molar ratio in the synthesis. Characterization of the compound was carried out using X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, UV-VIS absorption and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and methylene blue removal tests from aqueous solution under ultraviolet light.
