摘要
This study investigates the relationship between Callous-Unemotional (CU) traits, emotion regulation, and behavior problems in middle childhood. The sample includes 194 children aged six to eleven. The results indicate that CU traits, particularly callousness and unemotionality, are positively associated with both internalizing and externalizing behavior problems. Emotion regulation mediates these associations, highlighting its crucial role. Children with higher callousness exhibit higher levels of both internalizing and externalizing problems, while those with unemotionality show internalizing problems. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of these relationships and has implications for promoting children's emotional well-being in the school environment.
