摘要
New energy power electronic equipment, characterized by lack of inertia, low disturbance resistance, and weak support, poses significant challenges to the power grid. When faults such as DC blocking occur, high-proportion clean energy grids with both generation and consumption will face greater pressure on grid frequency stability. However, with the rising amount of new energy, it is essential not only to enhance grid operational stability but also to accommodate the integration of new energy. Against the backdrop of regions rich in hydropower resources, this paper proposes a cascade hydropower unit commitment optimization strategy for high-proportion clean energy grids with both generation and consumption, considering frequency stability. First, the main entities for regulation on the power supply side are modeled. Then, a unit combination optimization model is presented. In the end, the strategy's effectiveness is confirmed by a case study of cascade hydropower in a particular basin.
