摘要
This study explored the role of religiosity and sense of community in the academic self-concept of university students in a cross-sectional study. Data were obtained from 756 students, and analyzed with the Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling. The results showed a positive influence of religiosity on the sense of community and positive academic self-concept, but not on negative academic self-concept. Sense of community also influenced positive academic self-concept, but not negative self-concept. Finally, a sense of community mediated the influence of religiosity on academic self-concept. The findings were discussed within the framework of the self-determination and sense of community theories.
