摘要
In this work, 4 new lanthanide(III) complexes: Sm(III), Eu(III), Gd(III) and Tb(III) have been obtained. The last 3 of them have smectic C mesomorphism. The optical and luminescent properties of the synthesized complexes were studied. The complexes had emission bands characteristic of each ion in the visible region of the spectrum. Due to unique molecular structure and ability to promising for the use as optical materials for various functional purposes. In this aspect, composites with polymers are interesting, and therefore the mixtures of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with the synthesized luminescent complexes have been obtained. It was found that an increase in the luminophore concentration up to 20 wt. % in the polymer matrix leads to a practically linear enhancement of luminescence intensity. In contrast, for well-known analogous systems, the effective luminophore content does not exceed 3-5 %. The presence of elongated terminal hydrocarbon substituents in the structure of liquid luminophore content in the polymer matrix to be varied more widely and maximum radiation efficiency to be achieved at high concentrations of luminophore.
