摘要
BackgroundCreating safe environments for children is vital for human development. This study examined stakeholders' views on child safety and protection Ghana.MethodsWe collected qualitative data from 16 communities in eight districts. We used an inductive approach to identify common themes.FindingsPre-burial wake ceremonies, parental socioeconomic status, children's initiative in seeking economic autonomy, early childbearing norms, poor physical and spatial planning in communities, and bullying in schools were recurring themes.ConclusionThe implication is that child welfare services and interventions necessitate systems thinking and collaboration for durable and meaningful solutions.
