摘要
In this paper, we demonstrate where the design window of viability lies for a space solar power system by applying a class of ultra-thin satellites called PaddleSats. These satellites use solar pressure for some navigation operations and thereby have extended lifetimes, low launch mass, and anti-debris properties. We outline both the benefits and the trade-offs for using the under-explored design space for spacecraft.
