摘要
Large-scale interconnected power systems experience fluctuations in frequency and tie-line power due to sudden load changes. Significant frequency deviations can disrupt power distribution and lead to blackouts. Effective load frequency control strategies are essential to maintain system stability. This research proposes a PID controller design to regulate frequency and tie-line power variations within an interconnected power system. The proposed controller aims to minimize overshoot, settling time, and normalize system response. The controller's performance is evaluated using Simulink, a graphical modeling and simulation tool.
