Approximately 25% of all patients with colon cancer are already in advanced stage III at the time of initial diagnosis and are often over 70 years old. Gallois et al. wanted to examine the extent to which adjuvant chemotherapy based on oxaliplatin is safe and effective in this age group and presented an analysis of 12 studies.
