摘要
Rural tourism is one of the vital forms of tourism in China. This paper, taking Renli Village Hainan Province, China, as the research object, analyzes the carbon source and carbon sink, the characteristics of rural tourism, estimates the numerical value of net carbon emission of rural tourism activities, and puts forward the path to carbon neutral development according to the estimated results. The results show that the percentage of carbon emissions from rural tourist activities varies, with shopping, entertainment, management, lodging, transportation (internal), and trash incineration rating from high to low. Most rural tourism carbon sink (63.93%) comprises forestland.
