摘要
Plane wave injecting vertically into a uniform thin plate is a common problem of sound transmission; from the point of view of vibration and sound radiation, it is also a problem of sound radiation due to plate vibration excited by plane wave. Both of them can be analyzed by classical methods, and the calculation results should be consistent. The former is easy to calculate, but the latter is more complex because of acoustic-structure interaction. This paper is devoted to the study of this problem in-depth. Firstly, the existing research results of the excited vibration and acoustic radiation of the finite thin plate are reviewed. Then, the continuous addition equation and singular integral problems are focused and handled in detail. When solving the continuous addition, an exquisite matrix solution is used. The singular integral is fulfilled by isolating a small neighborhood and then by integrating the rest part with quadrature formulas. Finally, the program is constructed for computation. The computed results show that the values based on normal modes agree well with the ideal results. It shows that the method based on vibration modal analysis is feasible. The accomplishment of the method is very difficult, but it can be used to obtain the details of the sound field, reveal the essence of radiated sound from rectangular plate excited by plane wave, and also validate the modal analysis method.
