摘要
Compared with traditional detection methods, visual fluorescence sensing has great convenience in the identification and detection of substances. In recent years, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) had great application prospects in fluorescence sensing due to their tunable structures, large surface areas and extremely high quantum yields. Among various luminescent MOF materials, MOFs with a benzothiadiazole unit have the advantages of stable and adjustable luminescence, which makes them shine in fluorescence sensing. In this highlight, we summarize the recent progress of MOF materials with a benzothiadiazole unit for fluorescence sensing and fully explain their sensing mechanism. Hopefully, this highlight will provide learning and guidance for beginners who are doing research in optical sensing.
