摘要
Reaming, which is often the last operation in boring, makes it usually possible to achieve an accurate geometric shape and dimensional stability of the bores, as well as high quality-machined surfaces. Compared with other machining processes, reaming has the advantage that only one tool is necessary to machine a large number of bores and that it can be performed on almost all machine tools with a rotating spindle. The roughness of the machined surfaces is influenced, among other things, by the cutting edge quality of the reamer.
