ROUTINE QUALITY CONTROL OF NATURAL GAS.

A number of GC configurations, which employ the newest instrumentation in gas chromatography, are described. Of the four natural gas separations described in this article, either packed columns or packed column/capillary column combinations are used. The analyses were performed on the Model 439 Packard Gas Chromatograph using four specifically dedicated modules for the analysis of natural gas samples. The modules are oven cover assemblies, combining the necessary gas valves, switching hardware, injectors, detectors and columns. The modules are easily exchangeable, giving greater flexibility to the GC and its breadth of quality control performance.
