Prevalence of unoperated adults with congenital heart disease at the King Fahad Hospital in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia

Adults with unoperated congenital heart disease (CHD) are survivors with mild or serious but compensated cardiac disorders. The prevalence of adults with CHD at the King Fahad hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was assessed using echocardiography. Results showed that unoperated adults with CHD form a small but important percentage of all adult echocardiographic studies performed in that hospital.
