摘要
Operation of vibrator at the spring-actuated base for densification of molds of lost foam casting is considered. The mold box is free or connected firmly with vibration table forming united system of 'table-mold box-sand'. The vibration densification process is studied depending on mold box position. The dependences of porosity coefficients and densification of quartz sand upon ratio of vibration acceleration - gravity and grain shape are analyzed. It is shown that the insufficiently-dense mold takes place at mold box free position.
