摘要
On the basis of information in the literature, the dependence of the reverse-osmosis characteristics of membranes on the chemical properties of organic substances present in solution has been shown. The action of organic substances may reduce to two types of poisoning of the membranes: reversible and irreversible. In both cases the process of reverse osmosis is distributed, the useful life of the membrane is shortened, and the productivity of the apparatus falls. Possible methods of protecting membranes from poisoning are shown.
