Simulation technology can provide the basis for process understanding and improvement. To demonstrate this, case studies are presented that reference actual field applications, including steady-state simulation, dynamic simulation, detailed equipment design and performance, Modified Iterative Measurement Test method and economic evaluation and optimization.
