摘要：
Coherent far-infrared or submillimeter-wave (SMMW) radiation has been obtained earlier by using sulfur dioxide (SO//2) as the active medium of optically pumped lasers and of electric discharge lasers. This article reviews the results for optical pumping with a CO//2 laser, but also discusses briefly the mechanisms proposed for the discharge laser. Ref.
