摘要：
The utilization of formic acid as a pulping agent was known for quite a few years, and different systems were developed and published. One of the advantages of formic acid pulping was the high selectivity regarding cellulose, which leads to pulps with high strength and high levels of polymerization. Another fact was that silicate was not easily soluble in formic acid, which keeps the silicate out of the chemical recovery.
