Specific features of sulfide-oxide corrosion of gas turbine blades and regularities of this type of corrosion of nickel-based alloys are considered. Results of corrosion and corrosion and mechanical tests of protective coatings deposited by the electron beam, thermal diffusion, and dross methods are presented. In particular, coatings of the Co-Cr-Fe-ZrO//2 and Co-Cr-Al-Y systems are recommended.
