摘要：
The relationship between the size of a partial step and the exciting current is calculated on the basis of partial step formation. Three fundamental methods of precision positioning are described, namely, by varying directly the exciting current, by varying the pulse width of a pulse exciting current, and by controlling the pulse frequency of a pulse exciting current.
