摘要：
A large, all graphite/epoxy missile interstage adapter was designed, fabricated, and ground tested. Special tooling and processing methods were developed to produce high quality, thin-gage component details, and reliable bonded assemblies. Details of tool and fabrication labor and material costs are presented, along with an assessment of the economics of graphite composite usage in structures of this type.
