摘要
A Joystick controller determines position, direction or speed by varying the output of a converter mounted inside or outside the frame or on the control stick. In recent years, a higher accuracy and a greater reliability have come to be required of control on the order of microns with the progress of automated and computerized machine tools and measuring apparatus. Consequently, precision potentiometers, encoders and contactless potentiometers have come into use as converters. This article describes the structure, performance and applications of a joystick controller using a precision potentiometer.
