The experiments were set on the ground connected pipe test station with air mass rate of 1.2 kg/s. The characteristics and performances of supersonic combustion of fuel-rich hot gas as reacting jets injected into the combustor with dual-cavity configuration were investigated by means of pressure measurement and photo. The results show that the ignition of supersonic combustion is reliable and the combustion flame is stable. Furthermore, the efficiency of supersonic combustion is more than 0.80. The present new scheme of supersonic combustion is an attractive candidate for ramjet/scramjet.
