摘要
The phase behavior of grease and the structure of soap micelles could be examined by double refractivity and light transmittancy. The effect of the addition of organic polar compounds such as fatty acids and aliphatic alcohols on the phase transition of grease has also been studied and found similar to that of the presence of oxidation products of hydrocarbon oil and other impurities - such as free acids that remain unreacted during the preparation of lubricating grease.
