摘要
The authors describe a cycle-controlled spark erosion generator which in contrast to conventional generators operates without any current limiting resistors. Magnitude and curve shape of the working current are determined by the cycle of a high-frequency switching unit. An outline of the cycle-controlled erosion process is followed by determination of the generator efficiency. In conclusion, the effect of various current pulse shapes on electrode wear, surface finish and removal rate are described.
