The effect of diameters of drops on intensity of heat transfer during drop condensation

摘要
The paper presents the results of microvideo- and photofilming of the process, involving drop condensation of steam at the atmospheric pressure. The process was stimulated by fluorine-containing desulphide located on flat and weakly curved surfaces. Based on the distribution function of drops by their sizes, the proportion of the heat transfer area occupied by drops of various sizes has been determined. Also, the contribution of these drops to heat transfer intensity has been defined. The drops, which make a decisive contribution to average heat transfer of the process, have been identified.
