摘要
Aimed at waste utilization and simultaneous solving environmental problems the investigation was made to reveal the possibility of application of porcelain wastes for abrasive material production. The composition and technological procedures were developed for new material intended for wet tumble of buttons. The abrasive was produced in the form of comical granules 20 mm in height and 25 mm in diameter by castings, drying and firing at 1350° C. Physical-mechanical properties of the material obtained were as follows: compression strength under bending - 75 MPa, firing-shrinkage - 0.22%, wearability-0.05 g&middotcm-2.
