摘要
Although engineering drawing and surface modelling are usually separate functions, a procedure for describing three-dimensional surfaces from conventional engineering drawing in a linked Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) system has been found very useful and indeed practically indispensable in the modern process of engineering design. One such system is described here. The surfaces are defined in a form suitable for finite element analysis.
