摘要
Some typical defect sources include: defective starting material, ovality, surface quality, rolled-in defects, flaking and spills; surface decarburization; material defects such as cavities, segregates, gas bubbles, nonmetallic inclusions; pickling defects; overdrawing, i. e. internal cracking; size deviation; and martensitic surface zones. The article discusses use of the tensile test with percent contraction, reverse bending and torsion test.
