摘要：
The issues considered by the Dutch Ministry of Transport, towards a progressive deployment of automated vehicle guidance (AVG) systems are discussed. AVG systems are expected to have an important impact on the regular road network in the Netherlands. The position paper on vehicle technology, presented in the Ministry of Transport, emphasizes the role of the automation industry as a provider of systems and services. The primary road network in the Netherlands offers excellent opportunities to experiment with innovative and high potential applications such as AVG.
